AH Formatter plug-in for xmlspy®

AH Formatter plug-in for xmlspy® is available free of charge for all users of AH Formatter. It's an add-on connection module for xmlspy. It offers the combination of both the formatting function of AH Formatter and the editor function of xmlspy to format XSL-FO document. The component is downloadable from the following:

AH Formatter plug-in for xmlspy® is designed to work only with the product license of AH Formatter. It's not available for evaluation users. xmlspy® can be purchased at www.altova.com.

By integrating AH Formatter plug-in for xmlspy® into Altova xmlspy®, you can see the formatted result from the xmlspy menu or toolbar using AH Formatter.

Run installation module and install AH Formatter plug-in for xmlspy®. Then start integrating from xmlspy®. Please refer to the Online Manual attached to AH Formatter plug-in for xmlspy®.

After incorporating this module, a new menu and a tool button of AH Formatter are added to the xmlspy menu and tool bar. The 'Run AH Formatter' function and the 'Register Document/StyleSheet' function will be added.

The 'Run AH Formatter' function provides you with the ability to format the XML/XSL document and styleseet opened in the currently-active xmlspy window. The input dialog of the document/stylesheet to be combined are displayed respectively. You can input or select a document and a stylesheet to be formatted in this dialog.

The 'Register Document/StyleSheet' function provides you with the ability to register the XML/XSL documents when you carry out XSL-FO conversion using the always-same documents. By registering the documents, it's not necessary to specify a combination of document/stylesheet each time.

1. XSL Formatter plug-in for xmlspy® is designed to work with AH Formatter product version, not with evaluation version.
2. The run-time setting of AH Formatter inherits the setting in AH Formatter GUI. Therefore in case a document/stylesheet are registered in AH Formatter, the setting of AH Formatter takes priority even though it is launched from xmlspy. Please exit AH Formatter when you do not need it, because the process will be different from that of xmlspy after starting AH Formatter.
