There are several makers who supply barcode font so far. In many cases, they are selling barcode fonts together with the library that generates barcodes. These libraries are designed to be used by VB, C or C++, or with Microsoft Word, Excel.

XSL Formatter Barcode Option is a product aiming to generate barcodes using stylesheets, by supplying stylesheets instead of these libraries.

The XSL Formatter Barcode Option provides you with the extended function to generate the printable barcodes easily with XSL Formatter V2.5MR3 or more and V3.0 or more.

It's easy to print barcodes by including this stylesheet to customer's individual stylesheet. As sample data XML and stylesheet are included in this option, you can customize your data based on these files.

Merit of XSL Formatter Barcode Option

XSL Formatter Barcode Option has the following benefits as compared to the other product.

A barcode image can be outputted only by the stylesheet, without creating an image file separately.
A special program or a special utility are not required.
The size of a barcode image can be easily changed only by changing font-size as well as other texts.
In the attached Stylesheet, the start code and the stop code can be added, and the check digit can be calculated and added.

License

The license of XSL Formatter V2.5 MR3 or more, or V3.0 or more is required to use Barcode Option.
After getting XSL Formatter V2 or V3 a user can purchase Barcode Option as an option.
XSL Formatter Barcode Option is designed to work with XSL Formatter product version. It's not available to use only Barcode Option.
XSL Formatter Barcode Option can run only on a computer that it is installed by a user who is registered. This license does not allow to provide the function of XSL Formatter Barcode Option for other computers directly or indirectly that is accessible to the computer XSL Formatter is installed.
